Real Kosher Ice Cream Recalls Soft Serve on the Go Cups Because of Possible Health Risk

Argentum

As you may be aware, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are investigating an outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes infections potentially linked to “Soft Serve On The Go” ice cream 8-oz cups produced by Real Kosher Ice Cream of Brooklyn, NY, which issued a recall of all flavors of these cups on August 9.

Please note that the recall impacts ice cream cups that were distributed to long-term care facilities. At least one person in a long-term care facility was reported to become sick due to the ice cream, and the CDC is advising long-term care facilities, hospitals and other institutions not to serve any flavor of the ice cream cups.
