PALA Members met with Senator Jake Corman during a breakfast event at the Harrisburg Hilton on November 20, 2019.  The Senator is the Majority Leader for the Senate.  PALA members had the opportunity to discuss the value of Personal Care and Assisted Living Communities in providing care for seniors of the Commonwealth.  The meeting included discussion of a consistent regulatory environment, the crisis of a workforce shortage, legislation on OAPSA and Assisted Living, and funding for SSI.
